Volunteering Central holds regular networking meetings in the Central Otago Lakes District. They provide the opportunity for people who work with volunteers to share ideas and learn from each other about current local best practices in volunteer management.
Who can come?
These forums are open for anyone who is responsible for leading, managing or coordinating volunteers for a non-profit organisation. Your organisation does not need to be registered with Volunteering Central for you to attend and you may be a paid staff member or volunteer yourself.
When and where do meetings take place?
Meetings are scheduled to take place in each of our four main hubs of Alexandra, Cromwell, Queenstown and Wanaka. Dates, times and locations are announced in our newsletters. Sign up for our newsletter here:
What do you talk about?
There is usually a different discussion topic each meeting and topics are determined by the needs of the group. Some months there is no specific topic and the floor is open for people to network.
